On Wednesday September 11, beginning at 7:00 PM at the Mustang Soccer Complex, Mustang Soccer will present its annual Parent - Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) Workshops.

At our 'Back to Soccer' you will come away with knowledge and tools for supporting your child in his/her sports experience, including:
- > Parents’ goals and their child’s goals related to sports participation
- > Tips for parents to show support before, during and after the game
- > Motivating their child/athlete by filling emotional tanks and teaching lessons about
effort, learning and mistakes
Parents who attend this workshop will receive the book Positive Sports Parenting, which provides insightful and sensible advice on how parents can help children get the most from sports, as well as helping improve the parent’s relationship with their kids.
In addition to the PCA workshops, Mustang will be hosting experts presenting on important Health and Safety subjects of interest to parents.
For Parents of Younger Players (U12 and younger) At 7:00 PM we will have Michelle Cappello, a Physical Therapist with a presentation on Sports Injuries and Wellness. Her colleague, Jamie Faison will speak about hydration and nutrition. At 7:50 PM these parents which change locations and attend the Parent - PCA Workshop geared to their age specific concerns.
For Parents of Older Players (U13 and older) At 7:00 PM these parents will start with the Parent - PCA Workshop geared to their age specific concerns. Then, at 7:50 PM they will shift locations and learn about Coping with the Risk of Concussions with local Pediatrician and Certified ImPACT Consultant, Andrew L. Nash, M.D..
